What a trip! 16 days, 14 states and 4043 miles. And we all made it back alive!

It may be the euphoria of being home but I have actually loved blogging this adventure. To all those who have commented - you have added a great element of joy to this exercise and I thank you. You made the bad days bearable and the great days even better.

  1. Welcome home! We've missed you. Looking forward to seeing you this afternoon, if you don't mind the mess from painting Kathy's room.

I can't believe how alert Erin or Mike must have been to record all those milestones and roadside signs from a moving car.

This blog was great! What a terrific idea. Almost like being along for the trip. Almost. Thank you!

  2. I agree with Sandy! It was like we were along for the trip, only from the comfort of our own homes, with decent food and private bathrooms. Loved the blog and am so happy that you're back!!

  4. Heidi's competition was more diehard than she thought - you were all still standing at the end. Even the wolf. Very impressive. Hope you are all settled back in the NY lux-pad and not missing life on the road too much.

  5. I've loved your blog Erin - particularly when it culminated in Heath saying that his least favourite part of a road trip was the car! Well done on surviving the trip, and the blog. Enjoy your resettlement, xx
